Hourly wage of $10.00 (GA) or $10.26 (FL) or piece rates ranging from $0.45 per 5 gallon bucket to harvest red and sweet onions, clip top and bottom, fill bucket and take bucket to bin to $7.00 per 12, 12 oz. clam shells to pick blackberries, put in clam shell, box, carry to grader/ supervisor, whichever is higher. Perform manual labor to grade and pack carrots and green beans; transplant sweet potatoes; and harvest, grade and pack onions, blueberries and blackberries by hand or machine. Operate equipment and machinery. Work will be performed in extremely hot, cold and/or wet conditions. Prolonged walking, bending, reaching, stooping, standing, and lifting and carrying 50 lb bags of carrots. Drug testing is conducted post-hire at the employer’s expense and is not part of the interview process. Negative results are required before starting work. Three months verifiable experience grading and packing vegetables required. Three quarters of an average of 40 hrs/wk guaranteed. Tools, supplies, and equipment provided at no cost. Housing provided at no cost if outside commuting area. If applicable, transportation and subsistence expense to the job will be paid upon completion of 50% of the employment period, or earlier. CITY OF FUNSTON, GEORGIA REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS ENGINEERING SERVICES The City of Funston is considering seeking funds from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) Fiscal Year 2015 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, to include regular round CDBG funds. The City is requesting statements of qualifications and proposals from Engineers with a strong record in successfully assisting local governments with the implementation of CDBG projects, both in planning and design and project follow through. The City is considering the development of a project to make Water, Street and Drainage Improvements. This 2015 procurement action may also lead to additional contracts and/or contract addendums for planning, design and other related services. If the grant was awarded, the selected Engineer firm would be guaranteed the contract for Engineer services. Some of the evaluation factors to be considered when selecting a firm are: 1. Qualifications and experience with regard to skills to be used on CDBG projects, including training, background, and list of current and past projects. Please include references, with contact numbers. 2. Fees associated with grant application development and administration. 3. Familiarity with the project and the community. 4. Scope and level of service provided, if selected. 5. Adherence to Section 3 Requirements. (The DCA Section 3 Solicitation Package is a required component for all proposals. If your proposal fee is less than $100,000 you should complete the “Do you use this Package?” Form, Page 1, ONLY and return with your response. If your proposal fee is $100,000 or greater, you should complete the entire DCA Section Package Pack, signed and notarized, and return with your response. Your response must include the applicable Section 3 documentation. Any response not containing the applicable Section 3 documentation will be considered non-responsive, and the response will be rejected. To acquire a Section 3 Policy package, go to DCA’s Section 3 Policy at the link below: http:// www.dca.ga.gov/communities/CDBG/programs/CDBGforms.asp 6.
