DIRECTOR OF NURSING Baptist Village Retirement Communities is seeking a full-time Director of Nursing for the J. Olan Jones Healthcare Center, a 254-bed skilled nursing facility. The DON is responsible for the leadership and management of the nursing department. This includes the delivery and maintenance of quality care and services to residents. The DON will foster an organizational culture characterized by teamwork, precision, openness, engagement, challenges, reports and deliverable results. The primary purpose of the job position is planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility and as may be directed by administration. Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, Registered Nurse with current Georgia licensure in good standing required, a minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in long-term care preferred , Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree strongly preferred, a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a supervisory or nursing administration capacity preferred.
