Hourly wage of $10.62 or piece rates ranging from $0.02 per 48 ear crate to check sweet corn to $5.00 per box to bunch onions, clip top and bottom, bundle, band, box and carry to trailer, whichever is higher. Perform manual labor primarily to transplant, cut, bundle and pack greens; ice & put box lids on greens in shed; transplant, cultivate, harvest and pack jalapeno peppers, bell peppers, cucumbers, broccoli, squash, tomatoes, eggplant, bunching onions and herbs including cilantro; hand harvest and pack sweet corn in shed. Requires repetitive walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. Work in inclement weather conditions including extreme heat, humidity, cold and/or rain. One month of verifiable experience cutting greens required. Three quarters of an average of 40 hrs./wk guaranteed. Tools, supplies and equipment provided at no cost. Housing provided at no cost if outside commuting area. If applicable, transportation and subsistence expense to the job will be paid upon completion of 50% of the employment period, or earlier.
