REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES
The City of Americus is requesting proposals from qualified Construction Management (at Risk) firms for the South Jackson Street Improvements, Americus, Georgia. The project, designated as Project # 15-01, shall consist of streetscape and construction of a new train depot. The preliminary construction budget for the project is $1,000,000.00.
The City of Americus has contracted with Maschke Associates in Albany, Georgia for architectural services.
The City of Americus intends to engage the successful Construction Manager (at Risk) firm for the pre-construction and construction phases of the project in order to meet an aggressive construction schedule and to construct this project within a fixed budget. The responses to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be evaluated, then up to three (3) of the most qualified firms will be notified and requested to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP).
A pre-proposal meeting will be held at City Hall 2nd floor meeting room located at 101 West Lamar Street, Americus, GA 31709 at 2:00 pm on February 16th 2015. This meeting is not mandatory but highly suggested to limit the amount of request for information.
