Hourly wage of $10.00 (GA) or $10.19 (FL) or piece rates ranging from $0.45 per 5 gallon bucket to harvest onions, clip top and bottom, fill bucket and take bucket to $3.00 per 1 gal/6 lb bucket to harvest blueberries, whichever is higher. Perform manual labor to grade and pack carrots and green beans; plant sweet potatoes and onions (sweet and red); transplant radicchio, leafy greens and blueberries; and harvest, grade and pack onions (sweet and red), radicchio, leafy greens and blueberries by hand or machine. Work will be performed in extremely hot, cold and/or wet conditions. Prolonged walking, bending, reaching, stooping, standing, and lifting and carrying 50 lb bags of carrots. Drug testing is conducted post-hire at the employer’s expense and is not part of the interview process. Negative results are required before starting work. Three months verifiable experience grading and packing vegetables required. Three quarters of an average of 40 hrs/wk guaranteed. Tools, supplies, and equipment provided at no cost. Housing provided at no cost if outside commuting area. If applicable, transportation and subsistence expense to the job will be paid upon completion of 50% of the employment period, or earlier.
